Even with the cold morning we had 59 drivers come out for what became a great
late October autocross day. We were had 4 four runs in the morning and 3 in the afternoon.
The course was very quick and a lot of new faces were seen. Thank you to everyone for making this last event so good.

We are also planning our year end banquet for either January 10th or 24th in 2009. We will again be at the Taj MaGaraj Porsche Museum for an amazing opportunity

Points Event #5 @ Kil-Kare, Sept
28th
We had only 40 drivers show up for the
beautiful weather Sunday, Sept. 28 for our extra points for the season. With
such a limited number of participants , each were able to get 8 timed runs for
the event. Many people commented on the fun factor of the course.

Points Event #3 Held July 27th
We held our Points Event #3 at Kil-Kare held
Sunday, July 27, 2008. We had 65 drivers at the event with a very wide range of
vehicles from and A-Mod to a gaggle of karts and Formula SAE cars. Even with 65
drivers we still managed to get 8 RUNS!. For those that missed it...you missed
another Mike Mergy design that was very technical and kept you on your toes!

Points Event #2 @ Kil-Kare, June 29th
We had 49 drivers show up for our second points event of the season. For those that missed it...you missed a GREAT course that used nearly all the track including the main oval. Taj Speedfest at Kil-Kare Monday, May
26th
On Memorial Day, Monday, May 26th, we held our first points event of the year!.
We had 76 drivers show up for this event, for which all
proceeds went to the Ronald McDonald House charity.

NASA Ruleset for 2008 Autocross
NASA (National Auto Sport Association) has released the new
NASA-X autocross specific rules for the upcoming 2008 season. The rules
have been greatly modified for the upcoming season, with the biggest change
affecting classification with a new Power-to-Weight modifier. See below for

Tentative Schedule for 2008
At the end of last season MVSCC was informed we, as well as
other area car club would no longer have access to Wright State Univ. lots to
hold events. Over the winter we have been scrambling looking for new
sites. As menioned this has not only affected MVSCC, but also WOR-SCCA in
the Dayton area. So at this time we have only a limited number of events
planned and are working hard to secure additional locations. Please see
our Schedule page for the latest updates.
Year-End
Banquet at the Taj Museum
We had our 2007 year-end banquet on Saturday, Nov. 17th at the Taj
Museum in downtown Dayton. We has our biggest turnout for the year-end
banquet with approximately 80 people attending! Thank you to everyone that
came out and for all the businesses that donated prizes for the give-away
raffle. Trophies were handed out to all that attended based upon the year to date
